Combining the picturesque wineries of Victoria with motorhome adventure, the Maui Winery Havens is a unique Australian getaway. All for just $AU140.
-
Take advantage of the stunning Victoria surrounds, via mountain biking, hikes, walks, fishing – so many outdoor opportunities.
North-East Victoria Wine Region – a tasty selection
Specifically chosen by Maui, the five properties each have their own individual personality, with one common theme – some of the best wine the Southern Hemisphere has to offer.
Brown Brothers Vineyard, 239 Milawa Bobinawarrah Road, Milawa, 3678
As they move into their 125th year, Brown Brothers heritage is steeped in innovation. Their Shiraz, Mondeuse, Cabernet blend is to die for, but there are 40 wines in total to choose from.
Dal Zotto, 4861 Wangaratta-Whitfield Road, Whitfield, 3733
Coming to Australia with an Italian heritage, the Dal Zotto reds have received rave reviews, but the knowledgeable staff will guide you further afield if you wish. Perhaps a Sangiovese 2013…?
Feathertop, 6619 Great Alpine Road, Porepunkah, 3740
Five-star in more ways than one, this Alpine Valley winery established by Kel Boynton in 1989 is blessed with perfect winemaking conditions. But the fantastic service, extensive cellar door and luxury service are all man-made.
St Leonards, 201 St Leonards Road, Wahgunyah, 3687
An institution in North Victoria, St Leonards was established in 1860 in the Rutherglen region. With the Murray River a stone’s throw away, this winery can simply be described as idyllic. The aromas of berries and oak waft through the Cellar Door, while the Shiraz, Chardonnay and Cabernet Franc fly off the shelves.
Cofield, Distillery Road, Wahgunyah, via Rutherglen, 3687
Cofield may be boutique, but the family welcome is most certainly down-to-earth. With a century of winemaking behind them, second generation Damien Cofield is maintaining the outstanding reputation. Sparkling wines are a speciality.
The perfect blend
Having enjoyed success in New Zealand, Maui are introducing the wineries to Australia from December 2014, and Marketing GM Kate Meldrum is confident that appeal will cross the Tasman:
“We are thrilled to make holidays more accessible in the King Valley, Rutherglen and Alpine Valleys areas, where we can offer overnight self-drive experiences that wouldn’t otherwise be possible, alongside the chance for guests to interact with the local winemakers and learn about the craft.
“Victoria is just the start of this campaign, as we reach out to other wine regions to extend this around Australia.”
This mini road-trip takes in a network of hugely popular wineries, alongside a unique motorhome driving holiday. Your food and drink palate will be satiated with a beautiful bottle of wine, while local delicacies are a welcome addition to your Gourmet Hamper. For just $140, this is a tour of wine duty you will want to enjoy again and again.
To Book this trip simply select your Maui Motorhome required and add a your chosen Winery Haven experience from extra items in page 2 of our booking system.
We have a wide selection of Motorhome Rental Australia to choose from at Motorhome Republic - consider a Campervan Hire from Tasmania or Campervan Hire in Perth. Alternatively, why not head over to New Zealand and grab a Campervan Hire NZ.

As a motorhome holiday enthusiast I have done plenty of travelling in New Zealand, Europe, Southeast Asia as well as North and South America. I'd like to add Africa to my list- but I think I will wait until my kids are a bit older first! Until then I will be creating interesting travel related articles to help give you the information you need to plan your next big motorhome adventure!
