1. Information on prizes and how to enter form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. The Promoter is GoSee Limited, Level 7, Spark City, 167 Victoria Street West, Auckland 1010, New Zealand, 0800 570 007. The promotion is run for GoSee’s camper rental brand, Motorhome Republic. 

2. Entry is open to entrants aged 21 years or over. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: child or stepchild (whether natural or by adoption), parent, stepparent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, stepbrother, stepsister, 1st cousin or partner. 

3. Promotion commences at 1pm 8 May 2023 and closes at 12am 1 June 2023   (Promotional Period 8 May 2023 – 31 May 2023).   

4. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence, employment status, booking reference) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

5. Incomplete, indecipherable, or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.

6. Only one (1) entry is permitted per person. Multiple entries by one individual will not be accepted. The Promoter will accept the first entry that is submitted by the entrant.  The winners will be notified by email by 5pm NZST 2 June 2023.

7. The Competition is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook and/or other Social Media channels. You completely release Facebook

8. and/or other Social Media channels from all liability associated with this Competition.

How to Enter 

9. To enter, entrants must, within the Promotional Period, sign up to the Motorhome Republic mailing list. Entrants register for the draw by supplying their first name, last name, country of residence and email address.  

10. By entering, the entrant warrants that: 

    • the email address provided is a valid, active email address and was created by the entrant and currently in use by the entrant only; 

    •  does not breach the privacy or intellectual property rights of any person

Judging 

11. This promotion is one of luck. Four winners are randomly selected from all the valid entries at the end of the Promotional Period at GoSee, Level 7, Spark City, 167 Victoria Street West, Auckland 1010, New Zealand, at 4pm NZST on 2 June 2023. The Promoter’s choice is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. 

12. The winners will be notified by email. The winners must confirm acceptance of the prize by 4pm NZST 5 June 2023 by replying to the notification email. 

13. If a winner does not accept the prize within the specified time limit, that winner forfeits the prize and a re-draw will occur at the same time and location as the original draw, and a new winner will be notified by email week commencing 5 June 2023

14. The prize winners will each receive 1 x 250 USD voucher, to be used with Motorhome Republic on a motorhome rental with any of the following thl USA brands (Britz, Mighty, Road Bear or El Monte RV) in the United States of America. There are four to be won. All four winners must be different individuals.

    • Use by date: The voucher must be used by the 1st of April 2024 
    • Travel dates: Subject to vehicle availability at all times

15. The promoter is a booking agent only and will facilitate your booking with the vehicle supplier specified above (“Supplier”).  Your rental and use of the vehicle will be governed by the terms of the rental agreement with the Supplier. The rental agreement and any other documentation provided to you by the Supplier is between you and the Supplier and Promoter will not be liable to you or to any third party in any way in relation to that agreement or your vehicle or rental service where your booking has been properly processed by the Promoter.  The Promoter is not responsible or liable to you for (i) the acts or omissions of the Supplier in respect of your booking or in the course of delivering the rental service to you; or (ii) any disputes in respect of your booking with that Supplier or that service, except in each case to the extent that responsibility for those matters may be imposed on the Promoter by applicable law. 

16. Promoter will not be responsible for any damage to the vehicle. It is the prize winner’s responsibility to cover themselves by personally purchasing full travel insurance. 

17. The voucher must be used by the dates specified above. The dates cannot be changed. If a winner is, for whatever reason, unable to redeem their voucher on the nominated date stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize will be forfeited by that winner. 

18. The winners must be over the age of 21 for El Monte RV, Road Bear & Mighty rentals, and over the age of 25 for Britz rentals. The winners must have a valid driver's license issued from your state or country of residence. Other driver’s license requirements are subject to the Supplier. Digital driver’s license will not be accepted. 

19. The winners are responsible for ensuring that they have the necessary and valid travel documentation including passports, any requisite visas, and vaccinations. The winners and travel companion will be responsible for any expenses incurred in obtaining necessary travel documentation, including any fines, or penalties incurred as a result of not having the requisite travel documentation. A credit card imprint or cash deposit will be required from the winners at thl, for all incidental charges. 

20. If any prize (or part of the prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, at its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority. 

21. The prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash. 

22. The supplier reserves the right to refuse to allow a winner and/or his/her travelling companion to take part in any or all aspects of the prize if they determine in their absolute discretion that a winner and/or his/her travelling companion are not in the mental or physical condition necessary to be able to safely participate in the prize, or if they pose a risk to the safety and wellbeing of any other passenger. 

General 
 

23. The Promoter may (but is not obliged to) at any time reject and/or remove from access by the public or disqualify or invalidate any Entry that it considers (in its sole judgment) infringes these terms and conditions. The Promoter will have no liability to entrants in that regard. If this occurs in respect of a winning Entry, the Promoter reserves the right to award the prize to the next valid entry that is randomly drawn. 

24. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used. 

25. By submitting their information, entrants agree to be signed up to Motorhome Republic email marketing list. 

26. Except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter: Is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on any computer system or at any website, or any combination thereof, including (but not limited to) any injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s property related to or resulting from participation in this Promotion; accepts no responsibility for any incorrect or inaccurate information, either caused by users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in connection with this Promotion, or by any technical error that may occur in the course of this Promotion; and accepts no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access. 

27. To the fullest extent permitted by law and without limiting any other conditions of entry, the Promoter may, at its discretion, terminate, modify, or suspend this promotion. All entrants participating in this promotion at the point of termination, modification or suspension of the promotion will be notified by the Promoter by email. In the event of modification or suspension of the promotion, the entrant may choose to terminate their participation in the promotion at no cost.

28. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion, including, but not limited to, were arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, loss, unauthorized access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner, winner’s travel companion or entrant; or (f) attendance at the prize event. 

29. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any tax implications that may arise from the prize. Independent financial advice should be sought. 

30. The Promoter makes no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination. International travel advice can be obtained from various sources, including government and local consular offices.  

31. The Promoter and the Supplier collect personal information in order to conduct the promotion and administer the prize and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers and prize suppliers in New Zealand or the United States of America, and, as required, to regulatory authorities in New Zealand or the United States of America . Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to opt-out, access, update, or correct information to the Promoter.
